CTED671: The Intercultural Classroom
3 Graduate Credits
As cultural diversity increases in our classrooms, so does the importance of understanding our personal cultural lens. The Intercultural Classroom is designed to explore cultural dynamics present in every classroom. The course will start with the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and personal feedback. In addition, we will present resources for your classroom, such as: intercultural communication models, training activities and classroom integration resources. Educators will come away with new ideas on how to navigate multiple cultural backgrounds in the classroom. In addition, this course will address both district and national policy initiatives by researching the link between intercultural sensitivity and student achievement.

CTED 677: Navigating Culture in Your Classroom-
1 Graduate Credit
This one (1) graduate credit continuing education course, Navigating Culture in Your Classroom, is an introduction to intercultural classroom dynamics. Like CTED671, this course will start with the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and personalized feedback, and then continue with various classroom integration resources. Educators will come away with a better sense of themselves as a cultural broker in the classroom. In addition, this course will address both district and national policy initiatives by researching the link between intercultural sensitivity and student achievement.
Tuition: $165
